Everyday Inspired is our deep breath during a busy day, to take a moment and pay attention to life. When we do, marvelous things happen. Maria Rodgers O'Rourke is an insightful and warm-hearted woman who is quick with a joke or an encouraging word. A popular and accomplished writer, speaker and teacher, Maria has given numerous workshops and retreats. Author of the Prepare Your Heart devotional series, her work is also featured in the Chicken Soup for the Soul inspirational books. Maria has served in church ministry for over 20 years in communications, adult spirituality and family life. She holds a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies. Her accomplishments include experience as a contributing columnist to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, St. Louis Globe-Democrat and Suburban Journals; and radio show host. Maria and her husband Steve have two children.
