Eventually something is going to happen outside of your set of expectations, ready or not. The question we ask today is, what are you prepared to do when this happens? This could be any thing from a random act of violence  to you or a loved one or a natural disaster. What steps are you and your family prepared to follow? Today I will introduce you to Dale Brown the Director of Operations for the Threat Management Center.

In 1994, Instructor Brown began training individuals on Detroit's East Side to protect their families and businesses from violent drug gangs.
In 1995, Instructor Brown started managing threat by developing strategies and tactics to rid his community of violent crimes.
With the assistance of the Detroit Police Department, their combined efforts resulted in a 90% decrease of violent crimes within their neighborhood, located in the 7th precinct. Monthly murders and daily home invasions ceased, resulting in a better quality of life for the families.A civilian volunteer organization known as the Violence Intervention Protective Emergency Response System (V.I.P.E.R.S.) was formed by Instructor Brown.
