Richard Clay is a N.Y.C based musician he plays sax, flute, keyboards, bongos and sings. He has performed in clubs in the U.S. and concerts in europe.

EDUCATION .. Howard University, Baruch University and N.Y.U. 

PERFORMANCES
Richard has performed concerts in Spain and Italy. 
In Spain , Madrid and Malaga with an allstar group featuring 
Eddie Henderson, Ronnie Matthews, Alex Blake, Billy Hart. 
In Italy, Ferrara and Pescara with Jimmy Owens, Curtis Fuller, Ira Coleman , Joe Chambers and Ray Mantilla. 
Richard performed at the world famous APOLLO THEATER with Norman Connors with Jean Carn, Angela Bofil and Mikki Howard

Richard has had his compostions performed by the following: 
Roy Ayers 
Norman Connors 
Mongo Santamaria- composed single from Grammy Award album AMANECER (Happy As A Fat Rat In A Cheese Factory) 

He produced, arranged and performed on his album An Allstar Tribute to Picasso and Miles Davis featuring jazz luminaries such as Lenny White, Buster Williams, Eddie Henderson, Curtis Fuller and Ray Mantilla and Geri Allen
