Meet Michelle Duster, Great Granddaughter of Ida B. Wells

Writer Michelle Duster, who compiled and edited Ida: In Her Own Words and Ida From Abroad,  shares insights about her great-grandmother's legacy as well as her personal goals as a writer, one of which is "to highlight the positive contributions African American women have made to the United States." Duster is also one of the co-founders of MuseWrite, a group of professional writers who are focused on creating a connection between writers and the community.
