This is the very first episode of Woodsheddin! Today we are woodsheddin brass with Avery McFadden. Avery McFadden is a native of Florence, SC. He has a BA in Music from Jackson State University and a MA from The Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music. He has worked in the New York City board of education, private instruction and consultation work. Avery was one of only a few to become  section leader of the trumpet section in only his second year marching in the Boom. Today Avery gives us guidance into what to do after we have selected a brass instrument to play and how to get started. This episode will be geared for all brass players. This episode is a podcast and will not take any calls. We will have live woodsheddin episodes in the future.
