March of Liberty Radio

March of Liberty and Hear My Thunder social community are dedicated to views from a Constitutional perspective. The thunder is that grassroots sound we hear surrounding key areas impacting our daily lives. There are countless people who are fighting for their causes and clinging to the remains of an unprecedented experiment. The experiment was first brought to life over 220 years ago by 55 enlightened men and the results of their thunder are truly inspirational. Their experiment, the Federalist Republic, must be revived and the radio shows presented here will be but a humble attempt to shine the light on our world from a U.S. Constitutional perspective while continuing the march of liberty. Dwight D. Eisenhower reminded us all, "Freedom has its life in the hearts, actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed - else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die." Join us in our broadcasts as we attempt to offer our efforts to earn and refresh liberty.

Show Notes

Our Sunday show (7pm EST) has guests and discussions with a focus on the original intent of our founding. It is an interactive discussion with the goal of education through conversation which leads us to more educated action. We support constitutional study and debate while not endorsing any particular party. All who care to share should bring friends and family together for a weekly discussion that strives to better enlighten us all. We will discuss current events and we do have spirited debate yet we focus on mutual respect while avoiding argumentative labeling and name calling. Refresh your mind and help refresh our minds as well. Make it a weekly scheduled event and we'll see you on the radio!

    History Repeats Itself

We have heard this all our lives; history repeats itself. We witness the repetition of history everyday. Today our nation is repeating bad times with growing tyranny, government intervention, and political power concentrating in areas that lead to authoritarian rule. The history we need to support, the one we need to repeat, is the history that led to the formation of our country as a Constitutional Republic embracing free market economics as presented by Adam Smith in "The Wealth of Nations." Join us to discuss what this history is and why it is time to demand repetition.

    It's Not that Complicated

The more you study the Constitution the more you realize it is not that complicated. Focusing on the core of our U.S. Constitution keeps things simple even though our government politicians and power grabbers want us to think it is beyond our understanding. Getting away from issues and on to principles makes it easier to understand and defend.

  • Original Air Date:

15 Key Principles for Understanding the Constitution

Keys to Understanding the Paradigm of the Founding Fathers In our efforts to understand various concepts, particularly concepts that tend to be somewhat abstract, it is often useful to list some of the more critical principles upon which those concepts are designed or implemented. Just as we eat physical food one bite at a time because it aids in digestion, our “digestion” or understanding of principles, is accelerated by individually examining them “one bite” at a time. Because the understanding of the various components and their implementation in a complex system is greatly enhanced by this “unlocking” capacity, we refer to these basic principles as “keys” to understanding. Come join us in discussing these keys to understanding.

Rebroadcast: We the People Chairman Bob Schulz - Continental Congress 2009

Please enjoy this rebroadcast of: We the People Chairman Bob Schulz - Continental Congress 2009 We are sorry we did not make it in time for the show. Gary didn't get back from Williamsburg, VA in time for the show, and Jason is tied up with work. We will be back next week with Gary's tales from his trip down History lane. It should be a great show. In the meantime enjoy. We the People Chairman Bob Schultz is leading the charge in educating and gathering delegates for this year's Continental Congress. You will learn what the plans are and how this historic event is taking shape. The upcoming historic Continental Congress 2009 event to be held in Philadelphia directly across from Independence Hall. As part of CC 2009, delegates selected by the People from each of the fifty states will convene to discuss the Government's ongoing violations of the Constitution and strategies the People can employ to peaceably curtail the abuse. Although these violations have been widely debated for years, it is the Government's patent refusal to respond to any and all First Amendment Petitions for Redress that now compel the People to justly and actively resist the tyranny.
