March of Liberty Radio

March of Liberty and our Heritage Training social community are dedicated to views from a Constitutional perspective. The thunder is that grassroots sound we hear surrounding key areas impacting our daily lives. There are countless people who are fighting for their causes and clinging to the remains of an unprecedented experiment. The experiment was first brought to life over 220 years ago by 55 enlightened men and the results of their thunder are truly inspirational. Their experiment, the Federalist Republic, must be revived and the radio shows presented here will be but a humble attempt to shine the light on our world from a U.S. Constitutional perspective while continuing the march of liberty. Dwight D. Eisenhower reminded us all, "Freedom has its life in the hearts, actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed - else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die." Join us in our broadcasts as we attempt to offer our efforts to earn and refresh liberty.

Show Notes

Our Saturday show (7pm EST) is dedicated to educating people on our U.S. Constitution and our heritage. Co-hosted with freedom coach Gary Alder and Gary Wood, it is an enjoyable way to learn and share. Guests, special topics, callers, and chatters all combine to improve our knowledge. Remember, only the educated are free. Our Sunday show (7pm EST) has guests and discussions with a focus on the original intent of our founding. It is an interactive discussion with the goal of education through conversation which leads us to more educated action. We support constitutional study and debate while not endorsing any particular party. All who care to share should bring friends and family together for a weekly discussion that strives to better enlighten us all. We will discuss current events and we do have spirited debate yet we focus on mutual respect while avoiding argumentative labeling and name calling. Refresh your mind and help refresh our minds as well. Make it a weekly scheduled event and we'll see you on the radio!

    Platform of the American People

    Today's broadcast begins to explore the platform proposed by Newt Gingrich's American Solutions group.  Here is a link to their website where you can review the platform;

    http://americansolutions.com

    Not only will this help for today's show but also it is important we get familiar with the platforms of the influential parties and organizations so we are ready to support those we agree with, oppose those we don't, or prepare to launch our own ideas.  The next several years will be critical for the future of our nation as we know it.

    We have already drifted far from the vision of the founding of our nation.  We are more closely aligned with a Democratic Socialism than a Federalist Republic rooted in Capitalism.  Is this the direction we want to continue?  Based on the primary campaign so far it appears the majority is happy marching in this direction and with our approach toward pure democracy that majority can control it.  If we are not in agreement we need to be armed with sound reasons why as well as solutions and alternative direction.

    Join in the debate, stay active, and never lose your voice.  George Washington's biggest fear for the future of America was the people becoming apathetic.  It is up to each of us to work hard to turn the tide of apathy that has allowed us to drift so far already.
