While reviewing the Book of Jude, the thought came that so little is much different than many believe.  After stopping by Genesis, I found myself in Ecclesiastes, where Solomon confirmed "there is no new thing under the sun.

We have mistaken imagination for change, when those imaginings remain as evil as they were in Genesis 6, and all of man's imaginings have created nothing that did not exist before, but have only rearranged elements of the creation over which God gave him dominion.

The sameness of life, of every man's struggle, of each person's final destination options can weary anyone of living, which is exactly what I believe God intended.  Part of our resistance against the divine is to believe we may encounter something different, despite the fact that there is nothing that can come upon us that is not common to man.
