The common sentiment among people is that all human beings are unique and special. But is that the view of scripture?
All men are born, all are subject to time and chance, all are of a few days and full of trouble, all have but one whole duty, and all die. These common experiences, prior to the appearance for judgment, make men much more alike than varied fingerprints make them different.
To paraphrase Peter, "These are not 'unique' as you suppose."
