I Will Not Sacrifice What Costs Me Nothing

In these last days, I have noticed something interesting....and somewhat disturbing.  It is a church, not free of sacrifice, but full of sacrifices which are free to those who offer them.  If I hear one more refrain of "We bring the sacrifice of praise" from one more well-dressed, well-fed, gainfully-employed, happy saint, then I might scream in the middle of the sanctuary - and I'm not talking about shouting Hallelujah. 

We often play God cheap - not in that we do not make sacrifices to God, but in that those sacrifices do not greatly impact us.  That simply does not cut it.  It never has, never will.
