I believe there comes a point in the walk of every saint of God when he looks around and finds himself isolated. Whether he struggles to feel God’s presence during a time of need, is unable to fellowship with other Christians, or convinced that no one understands him or the life he’s chosen, the result is the same: the man or woman of God might conclude that they are alone. If this describes you, then perhaps you are being sifted as wheat. God allowed this to happen to Simon Peter and the other disciples and the result was a group of men who served God, without fear, until death. Sifting is not pleasant, and the enemy's hand is often present, but it has been said, "those whom God would use mightily He will first hurt deeply." It is hard to imagine a greater hurt for a child of God than to be sifted for any time from His presence. So, you been sifted yet?
