my wee girls love listening to you! we are in scotland and i like that they have a soothing american accent to hear stories from other than me! they are still young (2.5 and 16 months) so if we don't have the exact book you are reading at the time i let them read along using any other book. you are a wonder! thank you!

Love, love, love this idea!! My two kids (DS 5, DD 4) love listening to you read at night while I'm busy getting our nighttime routines done! We love the younger children's stories. My daughter answers you as if you were actually in the room with us and is always asking me if you have added more stories! Please keep doing this!! Thank you so much! Sheri O.

Mama2Many--great children's stories read aloud! If you know anyone with younger children, this show is a must! Give a mom a break time--kids can follow along with their own book or just listen. Great for naptime, bedtime, or any time Mom needs a little break! My granddaughters, in Scotland (2 1/2 and 16 mos) love it and so does my daughter! With two, so young, it gives her a little time to recoup!

Classic Children's Book Read Alouds

It is my mission to instill good virtue and character in the hearts of children through the reading of Classic Children's Books. If you are an author, illustrator or publisher that would like your book read, please send me the book for evaluation. If I choose your book I will be happy to hold an online interview to promote it. I hope you enjoy listening.

    I have a COLD!

Well, I FINALLY get back to business, and guess what?  I have a nasty cold.  So this is my apology for sounding so stuffy while reading.  But I am not swayed.  I will continue the read alouds until I LOSE my voice!  I am so thankful to be up and running again, I can't let anything stop me!
Thanks for listening, stuffy nose and all!

    I'm Back

I'm very sorry for my long absence.  We stretched ourselves financially a bit with our new house so it has been difficult to upgrade our phone service.  I miss hosting this show, especially after reading so many of your comments of how I have blessed you and your children.  My husband and I are going to step out in faith once again and invest in better service so we can in-turn invest in the lives of your children.  I have enrolled in the profit sharing program and plan to add a pay pal option to my blog, once I figure out how, so if anyone feels inspired to help out with the increased cost to us, you will have the option to donate.  Any help is appreciated.  I will have my next show some time next week.  Thank you for all your kind words and support.

    The Long Silence

    Dear Listeners,
I feel that I owe you some sort of explanation regarding my silence.  As you may know, we moved recently to the "country."  (I could write a book regarding that statement and all that it entails, but instead I will just say, there have been major adjustments!)

One of those adjustments was a new phone line.  Local service only and our cell phones for long distance.  I didn't even think the radio show would be affected since I had done a few read alouds via cell phone already.  (Until I realized how spotty our coverage is out here!)

After purchasing this amazing property and pouring all of our resources into my husband's new business he's starting, there's just not any leftover to upgrade our phone line just yet.  So, I was tossing around the idea of trying a show via my cell phone.  This would mean I would be outside, away from the computer (don't even get me started discussing the satellite internet service we have....it took 20 min. just to navigate to this page, sigh.) so I wouldn't be able to take any callers (and there have only ever been a few, anyway).  I just wanted to throw that out there and see what you all think.  Should I try it, at least once anyway?  If it is terrible and broken up then we'll just have to wait until our land line is upgraded.  I am so sorry about this.  It has really saddened me to leave everyone hanging like this.

Thank you to all those new listeners that are adding me to your favorites.  I will do my utmost to continue the read alouds.

    Sincerely,
    Mama2many

    Not Abandoned!

Hello everyone!  I bet you thought I abandoned you all!  NOT a chance!  Would you believe that I JUST now (as of 5 minutes ago) got internet access?  Yes, almost 2 months without!  We moved to the country and I think that there is a book in my future and one of the chapters will be something to the effect of "What NOT to do when buying a house."  Anyway, still unpacking boxes, arm is STILL broken, but MUCH better.  I can lift babies, boxes, etc. but get worn out pretty quickly.

Getting back to storytelling is a priority and as soon as I can, I will be back to it!  Thank you faithful listeners for keeping an eye (and an ear) out for me!

    Reading again soon,
    Mama2many

    I've fallen and I can't get up!

    Well, my dear listeners,
I regret to tell you that I broke my arm and I've had to spend more time taking care of myself and little ones.  Everything takes twice as long to do now!  We still are planning on a move at the end of the month, so hopefully I'll be back in a week or so!  I'm so sorry, and I've missed you so!  I'll do my best to record some more shows this week before our move!
    Thanks for understanding!
