    Women Making a Difference w/Anita Mahaffey

    Hey Everyone-

    As we found out, you never know what, who or where will lead you to your destiny, as Anita found out from a trip to Turkey in 1976...who knew it would lead to this incredible company w/over 1000 employees in 2 countries helping people through hot flashes and night sweats caused by perimenopause, menopause, chemotherapy treatments and/or obesity.  Imagine the thousands of people (men get hot flashes too!) who can sleep through the night thanks to Anita and her vision.

    -Do NOT succomb to ANALYSIS PARALYSIS...You will always find a reason to not start your own business, try something new, have a baby, get married...whatever.  There comes a time when you just have to have faith that all of your research, background and soul-searching has led you down the right path, and you must take the leap of faith.
    -the VIRTUAL BUSINESS is becoming the wave of the future due to technology advances.  All you need is a cell phone and a laptop (or blackberry or other pda) to start your business.  Gone are the days where you MUST have a physical location (brick & motar) to be "official".  Take a class on PowerPoint, QuickBooks and Excel to get started...you can never start the journey w/out taking that first step!
