  WOW-were you all just amazed by this interview?  Estrella is truly an angel here on earth...what an absolutely amazing woman...
  
  There is a great need out there for children who are born with congenital heart disease, over 500,000 children a year are born with this defect yearly...Did you know that there are over 40 types of heart defects?...This is divided around the world, knows no boundaries as to race or income level...Estrella and the organization she founded, Big Love Little Hearts (www.biglovelittlehearts.org) strives to help as many of these children and their families as she can.  Estrella stated she receives an average of 25 letters a week from families around the world who are in need of help.
  
  Estrella works with the Children's Heart Foundation and the International Children's Heart Foundation.  She has also worked with the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and even the US military in helping arrange transportation to get the children TO the doctors/hospital once a surgery is scheduled.  It should also be noted that there are only 4500 pediatric cardiologists IN THE WORLD who are even trained to do this type of surgery-let alone the surgical team and hospital facilities that can accomodate them.  The logistics alone would be intimidating....
  
  I encourage everyone to at least visit the Big Love, Little Hearts website (www.biglovelittlehearts.org) or visit them on Facebook.  Here you will get to know some of the faces that have been saved and be updated on "matches" in progress.  Estrella is also initiating networking events that will also serve as fundraisers in Chicago called "Someone Saves My Life Tonite".  The first in this series will be held on Oct 13th at the Landmark Bar & Grill in Chicago.  Cost is $20 with ALL of the proceeds going to Big Love, Little Hearts.  GREAT CAUSE!
