Jesse interviews Leslie Davenport – licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 20 years with a focus on the health impact of thoughts and emotions and passion for the mystery of the human spirit.  She is an ordained interfaith minister.  Leslie integrates the role of meaning and the spiritual dimensions of life into health and healing.  She was a founder of the Humanities Program at Marin General Hospital, which evolved into the Institute for Healing and Healing in collaboration with California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.  Leslie is the author of “Healing and Transformation through Self-Guided Imagery”, consulted on “Holistic Health Promotion and Complementary Therapies:  A Resource for Integrative Practice” and regularly contributes to Huffington Post.  Leslie has over 10 years teaching experience in the college and university system.  She also has done multiple speaking engagements on television and at conferences; and has been honored with the Marin Breast Cancer Council’s “Honor They Healer” award.  Leslie currently maintains her own practice.  We will be discussing her work in integrated psychotherapy and guided imagery.  You can learn more about her work at www.lesliedavenport.com
