In your world, how much significance is placed on being right? How far are you willing to go to prove how right … and not wrong … you are? We are taught early on how important it is to get the right answer, to not be wrong. In fact, isn’t that a lot of what school is all about? Isn’t having the right answer how you get good grades? Insistence on being right and trying to convince others of your rightness …does that come at a high price? Arguments, public humiliation, friendships dissolved, broken relationships, lost jobs, broken hearts, blame, shame, regret, guilt, anger, rage … are those some of the costs? Is it worth it?
We have a question for you … Would you be willing to be wrong? It doesn’t mean that you are wrong, or that you should be wrong … just, would you be willing to be wrong?
Join us as we take a look at all of this, and, so much more!
