KRISTIN RITTER,
President,
Junior League of Birmingham

Kristin Ritter is currently the President of the Junior League of Birmingham.  She joined the Junior League of Birmingham (JLB) 10 years ago and emerged in leadership primarily through the fundraising tract.  This tract made sense because of her prior banking sales management career; however, her concern for those less fortunate has always been something that drives her.  It led her to a BA in Urban Studies from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.

This Texas native moved to Birmingham 15 years ago when a job was offered to her in the banking industry.  Since she arrived here, she felt that the Magic City was home.  She worked in bank management for five years, but "retired" to be at home with her first child.  She has been and continues to be involved in many civic and philanthropic organizations.  Today Kristin is a mother to four children ages 2 - 10 and a wife to her husband of 13 years.  Though as busy as she stays, Kristin feels the passion to make a difference in the community and the need to inspire others to do the same.
