The 50th. Anniversary of The March On Washington is here.  On August 28, 1963 the first March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom took place.  This was the largest rally for Human Rights,  Civil Rights and Economic Rights of African Americans in United States History.  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his historic "I Have A Dream Speech" in front of the Lincoln Memorial.  This March On Washington was preceded by the killing of Medgar Evers and followed by the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.  President Kennedy's then wife Jacqueline and his son John Jr. have since passed on as well.  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Robert Kennedy were both murdered in 1968.  The African American Biography Series of 2013 brings to you tonight the 50th. Anniversary of the March On Washington,  as well as the biographies of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,  Medgar Evers and Mr. Bayard Rustin who organized the original March On Washington.  Today is Thursday, August 29, 2013.  I'm Laura Gall and the name of my show is "You Talk Too Much".  "You Talk Too Much" is a featured show in the line up of shows on Blogtalkradio.  This show airs on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7pm est.  My call in number is 1-714-242-5273.  Please enjoy my presentation.
