After the Show with Suzanne Evans and Vickie Turley

The show today was my first with two guests.  And I couldn't be more pleased.  The information Vickie and Suzanne shared this morning proved to be incredibly inspirational.  Their program, The VA Blueprint, is the only Coach-Virtual Assistant combination that works toward not only the coaching aspect of establishing and growing a Virtual Assistant  (VA) business, but it also employs the mentoring side of it as well.

If you have the skills and determination to start your own VA business.  If you have the VA training under your belt and now you're ready to move forward, then The VA Blueprint is for you.

Be sure to listen to the entire program, because at the end Vickie and Suzanne will give you a head's up on some upcoming workshops they're offering.

And if you'd like more information about The VA Blueprint, be sure to visit http://www.thevablueprint.com or contact Vickie and Suzanne at contact@thevablueprint.com.

Be sure to tune in next Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. CST for another informational and inspirational show.  Until then, Melanie O'Kane - out.

After the Show with Laura Howard West of the Center for Joyful Business

Today's show with Laura Howard West was a smashing success.  Laura was so informative and inspirational.  We learned about how the energy we put forth into the world has everything to do with what we get back in return.   All you have to do is imagine and believe that your goals and dreams will come true, and they will.

Laura coaches those who seek true purpose and meaning in their businesses and those who want to establish heart-led business practices.

Laura talked about her product, the Joyful Business Guide and how the principles within revolutionize the way her clients look at the ultimate purpose of their businesses.  Is it to make a lot of money or create more time to spend with family?  Is it your desire to travel to Aruba for 1 month each year or be there when your kids get off the bus?  The concepts and techniques Laura teaches her clients are truly amazing!

You can learn more about the Joyful Business Guide at http://www.joyfulbusiness.com.  And if you sign up for the Joyful Business Guide and tell Laura that Melanie O'Kane sent you, she'll throw in a free copy of her amazing teleclass (audio download and transcript), "60 Ideas for Marketing with Integrity and Grace."

Be sure to tune in next Tuesday morning at 9:00 CST for another informative, revolutionizing show.  Until then, Melanie O'Kane - out.

    After the Show

I had the honor and pleasure of having Karen Reddick on the show today.  Karen is the Owner of V and E Services and The Red Pen Editor, as well as the author of two fantastic books: The A-Z Guide: The Best Ways to Work with a Virtual Assistant, and her latest release, Grammar Done Right.

Karen shared a tremendous amount of information relative to her virtual assistant niche, which is copyediting and proofreading, and talked about how she developed her books and why they are so useful to not only clients, but to other virtual assistants as well.  We also learned about the different types of editors, and why it is so important for writers to seek out and hook up with the right one the first time!

She also talked about her experience being featured on NBC's the Today show last year.  If you'd like to watch that segment, you can do so online at: http://video.msn.com/?mkt=en-us&brand=msnbc&vid=fda5aec6-5250-43c2-936f-dfac1ec2033d.  Very cool!

Don't forget to check out Karen's "one-week-only" discount on her new book, "Grammar Done Right!"  Find out more by visiting: http://www.grammardoneright.com/grammarspecial.htm.

Thanks again to Karen Reddick for joining us on MODCOM Radio this morning!  Be sure to tune in next week at 9:00 a.m. CST when my guest will be Gerry Black of Relax Communications.

Ryan Kelly, J.D. - Contemporary Web Plus, Inc.

My guest yesterday, Ryan Kelly, J.D., Director of Marketing for Contemporary Web Plus, Inc. shared some tremendous information about their Web-based applications, most of which fit perfectly into the operational structure within the Virtual Assistant Industry.

Ryan was a cordial, informative guest and a wealth of information.  I felt like I, along with my listeners, were given a guided tour of his company, their products, and completely educated about why their products fit perfectly with the way virtual assistants interact and communicate with their clients.

And it was very apparent that Contemporary Web Plus, Inc. has tremendous customer-service ethics.  I felt very confident that they leave no one in the dark and will do whatever it takes to help their customers successfully use their products.

I hope everyone who works as or with a virtual assistant to listen to this show, archived at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/melanieokane.

Next week, my guest will be Karen Reddick.  For those of you who watch the NBC Today Show, you may recognize Karen from the story they did on virtual assistants, using Karen and her client, who is all the way across the country, as their model for how business can benefit and prosper using virtual assistant services.

MODCOM Radio airs every Tuesday morning at 10 EST/9 CST/8 MST/7 PST on Blog Talk Radio - http://www.blogtalkradio.com/melanieokane.  My virtual assistant resources site is located at http://www.melanieokane.com.  And don't forget to pick up your MODCOM Radio Schwag while you're there!
