Ok. So with the current IRS system, we are taxed about 25% of our check. That means, every 4 weeks, we lose an entire pay check. If a person loses 40 hours a month, every year, that is 480 hours they work that they aren't paid for. If they begin working when they are 20, and retire at 65, that's 45 years of work. 45 x 480 is 21600. When divided up, it comes to 360 days (24 hour days, not 8 hour work days) that the average american works, that goes unpaid.
