[Season 2 / Episode 11] There's a war going on right now that's all around us. It's not just a war for the truth, but a war for the hearts, minds, and souls of men and women. Right now, truth from the Truth Himself is under attack, and much is at stake. Christians are caught in the crossfire of alternative Christian histories, emerging faulty texts, and a cultural push to eliminate absolute truth altogether. As a result, many churches and individual Christians have been deceived. Worse still, they propagate the deception that poses itself as truth! When such congregations and persons cannot see the reality of the situation, let alone appreciate the genuine concern exhibited by those who attempt to broach the subject with them, then it's downright tragic. Today, I want us to take a closer look at Hebrews 4:12 "The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword" and prayerfully consider its application to our lives today and this spiritual war we are engaged in on a daily basis. In essence, I pray that it will be a timely encouragement and reminder to us all; a call to arms if you will. Remember, there is no true unity unless there is unity not just in love, but unity in truth as well. For the most part, I want to share -- in its entirety -- an excellent commentary I saw online recently that pertains to this very same subject.
