Oprah Winfrey Network: Ms. LTR and Friends are Defending The OWN Network!

Late Night with "Ms. LTR". Tonight on “LTR Celebrity Radio" we're defending The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) that launched on 1/1/11. The first episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show aired on January 2, 1984. Within months after Winfrey took over, the show went from last place in the ratings to overtaking Donahue as the highest rated talk show in Chicago. The Oprah Winfrey Show, expanded to a full hour, and broadcast nationally and syndicated on September 8, 1986. For the past 25yrs Oprah Winfrey has been the Queen of day time talk shows. Her passion and connection with her “Universal Audience” has made her the most influential woman in the world! Oprah will be ending her day time talk show after 25yrs in 2011, however she has taken success to a new level and as of January 1, 2011 launched her own Television Network (OWN). I’m a huge Oprah Winfrey fan. I love Oprah as a person and a business woman. Oprah has demonstrated for 25years that you can’t reach a GREAT level of success without perseverance, passion, handwork, dedication, quality, originality and being true to yourself, it’s all of these qualities that will always make Oprah an amazing woman to me.
