The State of the African American Community

On tonight’s show we are going to tackle the tough subject of the state of the black community.  As we look back to Memorial Day weekend we see it was a weekend full of violence.  14 people in Jacksonville, Florida and 52 people in Chicago, Illinois were shot over Memorial Day weekend.   Just over a week ago there was a huge fight that involved both teens and young adults.  It was way past time for a change!  It seems that our community is spending more time making the news for violence then for real accomplishments!!! As a whole we are falling behind in education and things seem to only be getting worse!  What can we do to fix out communities?  Does the answer to the problem lie with the federal government, the state government, the local government, the community or the parents?  We know the problems we need the solutions!!!
