Retired Capt Donna Roman Hernandez, Caldwell Police Dept regarding 'Domestic Violence' Former Police Captain ~ Trainer ~ Film Director a former Police Captain who served 27 years in law enforcement. She is the President of Blue Force Films, Violence Intervention & Prevention Specialists and Blue Force Police Trainers. Donna is a certified Domestic Violence Police Specialist, Police Academy Instructor, DVRT Trainer and an Advanced Domestic Violence Trainer with the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, Office of the Attorney General. She is a graduate of the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Course and the FBI Leadership Supervision Course. She is a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association. Donna was named a Woman of Achievement by the N.J. Women’s Clubs and chosen as the Garden State Woman of the Year in Government by the Garden State Woman’s Magazine. She is a Police Honor Legion inductee, a National Jefferson Award recipient and is an Advisory Board member with the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault, the Governor’s Advisory Council Against Sexual Assault and the Bright Minds Institute for Autism. Donna is a multi-award winning independent Filmmaker, Director, Producer Composer and public speaker. Her natural propensity for storytelling and writing has resulted in five award-winning documentaries: The Ultimate Betrayal: A Survivor’s Journey, Street Justice, A Call For Valor, Newark Street Preachers and Closure.Recently Donna completed production with two new documentaries: Fallen Blue Heroes and Shattered Lives.
