Two days earlier Bryan Clauson, an icon of our sport, passed away in a tragic accident in Belleville Kansas. Bryan was a registered organ donor and saved five lives including Dan’s. USAC Amsoil 410 Sprints put on a spectacular show once again. Our focus for the show this week will be on the six races that produced fantastic action last week in Indiana.  We start this weeks show with Kevin Thomas, Jr who earned the Indiana Speed Week Title with one win and consistent finishes. Came down to a shootout with Robert Ballou on the last night. Kevin will tell us all about it. Next we will have the winner of the Tri-State Speedway feature for ISW Kyle Cummins. Arguably the best feature of the week Kyle pulled off a last lap pass for the win. Kevin Thomas, Jr. seemingly had the event stowed away for safe-keeping after leading the first 27 circuits of the 30-lap event, but a double-dose of yellow flags in the final laps would turn the tide for Cummins of nearby Princeton, Indiana. Longtime owner Dieter Schmidt hired 18 year old Ryan Krachun to drive his iconic number 5 Lincoln Auto Body modifieds. Night 2 the “60 Over Special” features a 44 lap contest for the Spirit Auto Center Big Block Modifieds, headlining the card along with the Stewart Stainless Crate/Sportsman and Pennco Tech Outlaw Stocks LD&D is honored to have this man on our show. An individual that needs no introduction. Jimmy Horton is a legend here in the northeast as dirt modified pilot. The Bridgeport Speedway opens the gates with a three-division program this Saturday, March 26 at 4pm.  The Big Blocks will compete in Bridgeport’s 4th annual Doug Hoffman Memorial – 60 Over Special Hand #1 of the '811 Dig Safe' Poker Series. This will be a 44-lap $4,000 to win event.  The Crate/Sportsman 20-lap race will see the victor take home a cool $1,000, while the Pennco Tech Outlaw Stocks battle it out for $500 in their 15-lap affair.  An open practice will take place the night before from 7 to 10pm.  Teams can leave their haulers overnight if they prefer, while the pit gates open 11am on Saturday. Joe has called every race at the New York State Fairgrounds since 1972, the first Super Dirt Week. Glenn Donnelly is best known as the founder and longtime president of DIRT Motorsports. He clinched his second career PA Speedweek title by just six points over Greg Hodnett of Thomasville. Wolfe, who persevered through a challenging night at Selinsgrove Speedway that included a hard flip in practice laps and a blown engine in his heat race, was the night's Fast Tees Fast Qualifier over the 26-car field with a lap time of 16.805. Next up Andrew Harpell promoter of the Race of Champion Series. Andrew will be filling us in on the next RoC race at Five Mile Point Speedway, this Wednesday, July 9th!
