How do you deal with health concerns? Whether it is a family member, a friend, or yourself, dealing with an illness weakens you spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Ironically, it is during this trying time of your life that you have to stay the strongest you’ve ever been. When science can no longer give you the answers you seek, you have to look inside you and hold on to your faith to strengthen you.

Our guest, Dr. Bernie Siegel. Dr. Siegel, or Bernie as he likes to be called, is a physician, who has cared for and counseled thousands of people whose mortality has been threatened by an illness. Bernie embraces a philosophy of living and dying that stands at the forefront of the medical ethics and spiritual issues. He continues his groundbreaking work in the field of healing and personally strives to live the message of kindness and love.

Bernie attended Colgate University and Cornell University Medical College. In 1978 he started Exceptional Cancer Patients, a specific form of individual and group therapy utilizing patients’ drawings, dreams, images and feelings. The physical, spiritual and psychological benefits which followed led to his desire to make everyone aware of his or her healing potential.

Bernie is author of many books including Love. Medicine & Miracles, Peace, Love & Healing and How To Live Between Office Visits. His latest work is A Book of Miracles, which chronicles inspiring stories of faith and transformation in health and life.

Bernie’s website is www.BernieSiegelMD.com.
