Welcome to Episode 2 of the Pesach & Eliana Show! The last episode focused on politics. This episode will focus on entertainment. Today, Pesach and Eliana welcome Dudu Fisher to the Lovers of Zion studios.

At age 22, Dudu Fisher became the cantor of the Great Synagogue of Tel Aviv. He began travelling to bring Yiddish and cantorial music to new audiences. Fisher, despite no prior acting experience, requested the part in the Hebrew production of Les Misérables after seeing it in New York. He played its leading role, Jean Valjean, in Israel from 1987 to 1990, and made local fame. He also played Tevye on Fiddler on the Roof.

Despite working in the entertainment industry, Dudu Fisher still keeps shabbat and does not do Friday performances.

He is currently doing a show called Jerusalem in Branson, Missouri. For more information, please visit Dudu Fisher's website at http://www.dudufisher.com
