The dating process can be a slippery slope if you’re going in with preconceived notions regarding commonalities and their importance. There are some commonalities that assist in making for a smoother ride through relationship land, but the notion of being a carbon copy of one another is an over the top expectation. Always remember that in order for growth to occur, one must come face to face with something new. When we engage in relationships with partners that have different life experiences than we do, we tend to have a greater capacity at growing experiences than if we have everything in common.

Join me and my co-host A. Michelle Grogan, Janet Heard & Skye Vonn as we discuss having a partner that doesn’t match your commonalities 100% isn’t a bad thing. Dial in Thursday at (646) 668-2495 at 8:00 pm EST, for a lively discussion. We serve up the dirty truth on clean plates in style!
