It’s very difficult to get others to approach love relationships as a lifestyle when they fail to love themselves on a daily basis. Because people are having difficult times loving themselves they see loving relationships as something temporary and the people within the relationship as easily replaceable. It’s difficult to make life long commitments to what is dispensable hence the high turn over in dating and the high numbers of cheating and marriages ending in divorce.

Love is a life long endeavor. One cannot enter into love/loving relationships preparing for the exit and expect the relationship to work or the love to last. Think of your love and relationships as you would think of the purchasing of a home. You want to build up equity, stay on top of the upkeep of the home and property and pour your entire essence into making your house a home. A relationship and love deserves nothing less of a commitment to give life of longevity. Love is an emotion which you practice within your relationship as a lifestyle with a life long goal of gaining equity on your love. Your relationship should have greater meaning and worth as the years roll by.
