It estimated that 24 million children in the U.S. go to sleep each night without seeing their father. The phenomenon of fatherlessness has left entire communities with mothers and grandmothers raising children alone. David Miller Co-Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of the Urban Leadership Institute (ULI) provides resources and strategies for partnering to attack this social ill. Mr. Miller is also co-author of the book, “Raising Him Alone: Things Black Women Can Do to Raise Boys to be Men” which provides a series of recommendations and best practices focused on improving the life chances of African American boys.
