Why can't men be honest with women?

If a women tells a man that he can be honest with her, why does the man choose not to?  If a woman asks a man a direct question that requires a direct answer, why does the man give anything but a direct answer?   If a man tells a woman he loves her and he really doesn't, why does he lie about it in the first place?  If a woman tells a man that she knows he lied to her about a specific story, why does the man continue to lie about it?  What is the purpose of a man telling a woman that she is his true friend, but he consistantly lies to that woman?  Join LBS as we discuss this topic.
