Loretta McNary Live is a premier blog talk radio show created for an empowered, active, and diverse TV, radio, social media and online listening audience. LML uses a progressive live call in format to target an ever expanding market of online listeners wanting an impressive menu of meaningful, insightful, and authentic conversations.

Our guest today is Bishop Rick Hawkins.

Bishop Hawkins is the founder and chief supervisor for "The Place for Life Church" in San Antonio, TX.  "The Wall: Disaster or Destiny? Lessons From Life's Crossroads." His main objective is to encourage people that they can recover or move ahead from setbacks as heartache, trouble, disappointment, or failure. His motto--"You can recover! You can regain your balance! You can renew your vision! You can rebuild your life!"  He knows it can be done because this book is from his life experiences that led him to hit a wall but was able to get back up by using his principles.

After hitting rock bottom and living through many speculations, innuendos and rumors, former mega-church pastor Bishop Rick Hawkins releases the anticipated tell-all book to encourage, inspire and renew.

Described as a 193-page account of his seven-year climb out of despair, Hawkins uses his downfall as an auto biographical-testimony on the mid-life madness that everyone faces, yet is too scared to address.  He tackles hard topics concerning seasons of life and fearlessly puts his own life on display to produce "Lessons from Life's Crossroads."

In his book, "The Wall" Bishop Hawkins takes the reader on an emotional healing journey from his initial crash, his collision with the wall, and hitting rock bottom to the meaning of real friends, understanding recovery, renewed strength and so much more.
