To whom do you look for advice on taking supplements? Perhaps a friend, a relative, a neighbor, or advertising might provide information. Some of you might ask your MD. I would like to suggest an osteopath as being a more informed source for such help. I see two osteopaths, one as a PCP and one for OMT. I get my blood work done by my PCP, but most of my advice comes from my other DO. I have found his advice to be right on for me. I have a better sense of well-being and my blood work has improved over the years. The what and the why are important. It is also important to have levels checked on a regular basis so you need a doctor who is willing to do the necessary blood work. Before embarking on such a journey or if you are currently taking supplements, you need to be very well informed about what you are taking and the expected results. Knowing your target goals blood level wise is helpful as well. Let's talk.
