It's the very first SuperBrawl in WCW. Ric Flair, in his last WCW PPV for over two years, is in an international incident with Tatsumi Fujinami.
Meanwhile, however, in the match that steals the show, Sting and Lex Luger take on the Steiner Brothers. This match is outside the norm of its time and rumors are people in the back were expecting the young stars, absent someone to carry them, to fail.
They do not fail.
In one of the GREAT tag matches of the era (and of all time), WCW showcases its present and future.
This is the first SuperBrawl, a PPV that will me a marker in WCW Legacy.

WCW was the genesis of fandom for millions of pro wrestling enthusiasts over the course of a tumultuous 12 and half year run. From Starrcade of 1988 all the way to Greed of 2001, the company's fortunes, their glories and missteps, can be traced though their larger than life PPV events.
Shane, (@OneManHypeBand), formerly of LOP Radio's Impact the Revolution, returns to the LOPR airwaves to present this special series looking back upon the legacy of one of the most important entities in the history of pro wrestling. What was good, what was bad, most important why it meant so much to him as a developing fan and why it should mean so much to you now, as a fan far removed from the company's glory days.
WCW: The Legacy Series is more than a review or recap show. Far more. It's the story of a legacy. It's the story of modern mythological beings, still close enough to reach out and touch. Join us for the journey.
