Lora, a polio survivor, began oil painting as a hobby, which emerged into a full time career when postpolio syndrome affected her life. Artistic creativity has been focused on the cultural beauty of indigenous tribes and nature. Her paintings depict the beauty and romanticism of nomadic people living life from the earth, making her art unique, while the animals depict either the gentleness or ferocity associated with their nature. 'I am driven by the desire to create that which flows forth from a higher power.'
