On the Radio with Athens Mayor Randy Daniel

Athens Mayor Randy Daniel will be our guest this Friday at 11:30 am cst. Mayor Daniel has been the Mayor of Athens for the past six (6) years. He recently announced that he will seek another two (2) year term. Mayor Daniel has been very active in the re-vitalization efforts going on in downtown Athens. The Mayor is very active in our community. He is a member of the Athens Kiwanis Club, Masonic Lodge, and serves as Secretary for the Athens Cemetery Association. He is a past president of the Athens Jaycees, and served 12 years on the Athens Independent School District Board of Trustees, three years as president. Mayor Daniel has been employed with Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative for the past 34 years. He and wife, Barbara, have one daughter Lori Daniel Sanders. They are members of the Athens First United Methodist Church.
