A group of Los Angeles students have accomplished the unthinkable. After two years of protests and sit-ins, they have forced the police department for the second-largest school district in the US to remove military-grade equipment - such as M-16 rifles, grenade launchers, tanks and other weapons of war - from its arsenal.

Houston police officer Kathy Swilley was scorned for her advocacy for local youth, eventually framed for criminal conduct and fired. She spent 8 years and her entire savings to unearth the police conspiracy and prove her innocence.

There is no "Ferguson Effect". New data confirms that the "war on police" is nothing but a right-wing myth. The FBI reports that 2015 was one of the safest years on record for police.
