A widow for 15 years, she leads the Philadelphia chapter of the WConnection, a national non-profit dedicated to helping widows rebuild their lives.

Susan J. Gross lost her husband in 2003 after a forty-one year marriage. But their real story began in 1957 when at 14 and 16 they met by chance at a Saturday night teenage dance and a lifetime of love and living began.
