Join me with guest Shelly Glazier, M.Ed, author of the popular book Save Your Life-What to do in a Medical Emergency, for an informative look at what constitutes an emergency and how to respond until help arrives.

She practiced marriage and family therapy in the Boston area for almost 35 yrs.  She founded and led a clinical therapists' peer group for 10 years, facilitated a parenting group, and worked as a private clinical supervisor for 15 years.

After the death of her husband, a pediatrician, Shelly became focused on medical emergency awareness. She has since taught courses and given lectures on Medical Emergency Awareness in the Boston area including Brandeis University’s BOLLI (adult education) Program.  She also managed a pediatric practice and worked as a medical administrator for Boston Children’s Hospital Pediatric Medical Association.
