In this week's Asthma House Calls, we sat down to talk with Dr. Inderpal Randhawa on what asthma is, why so many children seem to have asthma, the importance of early asthma diagnosis and treatment, and why being active can be key in managing your child's asthma.

Dr. Randhawa is a pediatric pulmonologist at Long Beach Memorial Hospital and Miller Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Randhawa is board certified in both adult internal medicine and pediatrics and has additional certifications in clinical immunology, allergy, and pulmonary medicine.  He currently serves as the director of adult cystic fibrosis at Long Beach Memorial Hospital and holds faculty appointments at the David Geffen UCLA School of medicine and at UCI Miller Children’s Hospital.
