LivingWithAsthma.net continues our feature Asthma SuperStars by sitting down to talk to Boston Ballet soloist Bradley Schlagheck about his journey with both asthma and ballet, adjusting to life (and asthma triggers!) in New England while in training, leading a life in ballet while managing his asthma and the importance of understanding his body while dancing.

Bradley Schlagheck has been a member of the Boston Ballet since 2006, where he's danced in everything from the classics like Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and The Sleeping Beauty, as well as newer works by George Balanchine, Twyla Tharp, Christopher Wheeldon and William Forsythe.  Most recently, he was promoted to Soloist with the Boston Ballet this fall.

Since 1963, Boston Ballet has been one of the leading dance companies in the world on stage, in the studio and in the community. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen and Executive Director Barry Hughson, the Company maintains an internationally acclaimed repertoire and the largest ballet school in North America, Boston Ballet School.
