Professor Dan Reinstein graduated from Cambridge University, and his postgraduate qualifications include an MA, MB BChir and MD. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist in the USA and Canada, and holds professorships and consultant posts in New York, London and Paris.

He has also:

- delivered over 271 lectures at professional meetings on five continents;

- been a moderator or panellist at 50 scientific international meeting panels

- published over 61 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals

- contributed or written 19 book chapters/published proceedings

- written over 97 articles for the ophthalmic press

- presented or published 172 scientific papers or abstracts

Professor Reinstein has appeared as an interviewee on BBC Breakfast, Sky News, and BBC Radio 4 and as the laser eye specialist for Extreme Makeover UK and 10 Years Younger. He has also been featured in both The Times and The Sunday Times Magazine.

In 2002, he founded the London Vision Clinic to provide a combination of exceptional surgical skill, unrivalled technology, world-class research and the ultimate in patient care and service.

He is also a jazz musician and performs regularly at the prestigious 606 Jazz Club in Chelsea, London.
