Regardless of where you turn, you can't get away from pundits who are discussing whether Donald Trump is going to become the GOP nominee. We see Americans, candidates or not, beating one another up on the campaign trail. So many are showing their anger and fear.
Unfortuantley, human beings are infamous for beating one another up. There are countless examples of man's inhumanity to man: war, hunger, violence, poverty, and environmental plundering. The stress we experience only a daily basis can lead to stress, anxiety, and depression. Too often, we cope with our suffering by using alcohol, drugs, and food (overeating). But, there is another way.
We can each take personal responsibilty for what's happening in the world and create opportunities to change it. "How?" you might ask. Well, by looking inward and outward for ways to create peace and heal yourself and the world! You can do this by developing inner peace, growing your personal awareness, understanding the inner and outer dynamics at play, becoming emotionally intelligent (balancing your thoughts with your emotions), and intentionally practicing love and compassion.
Join us in a lively discussion and learn how you can train your mind to engage in peaceful thoughts which can, in turn, develop peaceful actions.
