In John 21, After Jesus was resurrected from the dead, Jesus visited his disciples at least 3 times. Many people saw him and ate with him. Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these others?” “Yes,” Peter replied, “you know I am your friend.” “Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him. Jesus repeated the question: “Simon, son of John, do you really love me?” “Yes, Lord,” Peter said, “you know I am your friend.” “Then take care of my sheep,” Jesus said. Once more he asked him, “Simon, son of John, are you even my friend?” Peter was grieved at the way Jesus asked the question this third time. “Lord, you know my heart; you know I am,” he said. Jesus said, “Then feed my little sheep. Then Jesus told him, “Follow me.” FRIENDS, THIS IS THE QUESTION JESUS IS ASKING ALL OF US, "DO YOU LOVE ME?" IF WE REALLY LOVE HIM, WE WILL FEED HIS SHEEP. WHO IS THE SHEEP? THE PEOPLE WHO JESUS DIED FOR-THE LOST! DO YOU LOVE JESUS? THEN FEED HIS SHEEP! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A PASTOR TO FEED HIS SHEEP! GO INTO THE HIGHWAYS AND THE BYWAYS AND COMPEL THEM TO COME TO JESUS! Matthew 11:27-28 “Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father. Only the Father knows the Son, and the Father is known only by the Son and by those to whom the Son reveals him. Come to me and I will give you rest all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke for it fits perfectly and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens.”
