BIBLEBOOKCLUB: NUMBERS 2:1-3:51, MARK 11:27-12:17, PSALM 47:1-9, PROVERBS 10:24-25

According to Mark Chapter 11, Jesus always used parables (illustrations) to teach people about who he was, what his mission was and how his kingdom operated. In this scripture, He gave a couple of illustrations about how the Kingdom belonged to God, but for a season, God allowed people on the earth to administrate His word in the world. However, many people used that authority for their own gain. They used God's authority to become famous, have money as well as control and mislead the people. So God sent Jesus to give us an example to follow. But right away, the religious people knew who he was but they didn't want to give up their authority and they wanted to continue in their own ways. When Jesus told the religious people his stories, they knew exactly what he was saying about them so they wanted to get Jesus out of their way by killing him. FRIENDS, JESUS KNEW GOD'S PLAN FOR HIS LIFE; THAT HIS MISSION IN LIFE WAS TO DIE ON THE CROSS SO PEOPLE FROM MANY NATIONS COULD GET INTO HEAVEN BY HAVING FAITH IN JESUS! HE WON THE PRIZE BECAUSE, HE DID HIS FATHER'S WILL AND COMPLETED THE MISSION! NO MAN WAS ABLE TO TAKE HIS LIFE, THE DEVIL COULDN'T TAKE HIS LIFE. HE WILLINGLY GAVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU AND ME! Acts 4:12 (TLB) There is salvation in no one else! Under all heaven there is no other name for men to call upon to save them.
