Mercury, the messenger planet and trickster character, has entered the shadow period of its last retrograde cycle for 2016 in the sign of Capricorn.  What can we expect to be turned upside down or inside out on us?  Is Mercury Rx all that bad? 

My first thought when I realized that Mercury was getting ready to retrograde during the holidays was, as you would expect, a series of expletives :)  We enter the shadow period on December 1, which means that most of the holiday shopping period and celebrations will be during the retrograde.  Who wants chaos by retrograde at the same time we are at our busiest?  EEK!!

Maybe it won't be all that bad - that is what we are going to explore today.  How can you use the retrograde for good? What do we want to watch out for?  How can we stay cool, calm and collected when the planets do their dances in the sky?
