In 2002, Steve wrote and with Ken White (drummer for the Houndz) demoed the trilogy of songs- Shooting Stars and Wishes, The Far Side and Ocean of Storms, that became the foundation for Afterlife Crisis. The music identified so closely with the book, Steve realized he couldn't separate the two. So despite some opposition, he decided to package the music and the book together to provide a unique, rich experience for his readers and listeners.
First titled The Warmth Rating, the words and music that became Afterlife Crisis sprung from Steve's own life experiences. Future music novels and non-fiction works are in process.
