                                            Destiny Rambo McGuire

Destiny Rambo McGuire is a rare combination of talent with a dash of unpredictable, improvisational genius. In other words… she often leaps from the boat of tradition and dances on the water!  Destiny has an exceptionally rich heritage of music and ministry. Her grandparents, Buck and Dottie Rambo, are pioneers in the Southern Gospel world of performers and writers. Her parents, Dony and Reba Rambo-McGuire are certainly trendsetters in Contemporary Christian music.

Destiny has studied intensively music, piano, voice, art, and drama.  Along with years of private tutoring, she studied dance at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, went through extensive vocal and piano training by Jan Williams, Sondra Morton-Chaffin and Jamie Green at the Jan Williams School of Music, and has a Bachelors in Counseling from Destiny Christian College.

Destiny has already performed in The Child, Godspell, David, and Fear Not Tomorrow, based on the book by Ruth Graham. She has also has worked with Disney on the re-release of Tarzan the Musical, as well as in the role of Channah, in Sight & Sound Theater's show Jonah. In 2012 Destiny, along with her families group, Rambo McGuire were privileged to win the Dove award for bluegrass album of the year.
