You may not have gotten off to the best start in life. Perhaps you had multiple adversities: poverty, abandonment, abuse, trouble in school, trouble with the law, etc. Having things like this as a part of your foundation could get you labeled as a loser in life, someone who is destined for a bad end.
But thankfully, this is not the end result of everyone who started out under these circumstances. Some people have managed to turn their lemons into lemonade, and their stories inspire and give hope to others every day.
Jeff Tompkins is one of those people. He didn't have such a great start in life, but he has learned how to turn things around and his life is on an incline to good success. Tune in today to hear his compelling story!

For the first episode, I thought we'd open up w/ stories about people who have intervened in our lives and created special memories. These memories can be good or bad. This topic will help us to communicate and understand perspectives from those who have experiences different from the majority of people we know. I firmly believe it is in our best interest to embrace social diversity. By opening up to understand or listen we create a foundation to solving problems in our lives, big or small. So I hope to hear from you soon.
Topics of the show:

Regina Rowely began taking Tae-kwon-do years ago with my son. Although he discontinued, I found the demanding mental and physical exercise highly beneficial and continued. Spring 2008 afforded me the opportunity to achieve my Black Belt. While researching self defense programs I came across several including Hikuta and have high regards for it. Krav Maga, the official self-defense and fighting system of the Israeli Defense Forces is the foundation for Commando Krav Maga. Smartsafe, aka: Women’s Commando Krav Maga, is the program I have chosen to teach, receiving my first certification in NYC March 2010.
It is my dream to change the violent statistics against women. I move closer to this each time I teach and speak. I love to speak to women’s groups on Awareness, Prevention, Empowerment, and Women’s Self Defense. Together, we will make a positive difference in the lives of women every where; one woman at a time. http://www.reginarowley.com

God said my people perish for lack of knowledge, so this show is to educate, enlighten and empower men and women on who we are, and what our purpose is on this earth.
Women want to know why we have so many men not performing in the capacity God had intended from the beginning. Men want to know why women are not the help mate God said she would be.
God said let us make man in our image, and God also said it is not good that man should be alone. So if man is to be like God, and man is not to be alone, what happened? Come find out for yourself, you will be surprised at the answers.
What is our role as men and women? What is our purpose?
Come join us as we discuss these important issues.
I look forward to hearing you on the call.
