We have learned that men desperately want respect from the woman in their life. If you are in doubt of this, ask your man and see what his response is. This is one of the most important things men want from you but will never tell you. So, what does it really mean to give a guy respect? Simply put, it means that you give their thoughts, ideas, actions and feelings merit. It means that you think that he is important and you show it with your actions.... BOOM..Ok so now what? Is this true? Call in  with your 2 cents

  • Are black women that date outside the race 'coons' and 'Negropeans'?

    in Women

Often there is discussion and studies regarding black women being single, without a mate. Nobody ever tries to bring forth dialogue regarding ending the crisis. Now African American Women Matters have.
African American men are very liberal about dating outside his race. And is known to be a very staunch supporter of interracial love. I don't have anything against anyone that date outside their race.
I don't have a problem with black women that date outside of their race. I've heard that the black community isn't really supportive and somewhat ostracize black women that date out. It has been said that the black community is willing to embrace white women as an in-law but not a white male as an in-law. Is this true? If why?
Should the black community try to be more inclusive to black women involved in interracial relationships. Should African American women become vocal about ending the single black women crisis? So much 'ratchedness' would end if single black women could find a partner. Let's be civil and discuss this topic. If you think AAWM is wrong to bring this topic to the table explain why.

  • Getting The Best from your Healthy Living, with Lynn Smith

    in Women

Lynn Smith started her coaching career while she was still a student in the 12-month coaching certification program, Health Coach Training. She launched her programs, websites and global teleclasses as she was preparing for graduation.
Working as a women's weight loss coach, Lynn began to identify specific emotional factors that contribute to emotional eating and being overweight. This resulted in Lynn creating a signature program that focused on shifting those inner issues. Lynn's passion is helping women step into their power and learning to love and value themselves.
That passion led her to become a certified Tapping into Wealth coach, where she specializes in helping women entrepreneurs overcome the inner obstacles to being seen and earning their worth.

    Business Description:
My mission is to help women business owners step up, stand out, and earn their worth.
There are some financial self-sabotages that hit women particularly hard:
One is perfectionism Another is not wanting to be seen. We hide. We don’t want to be in the spotlight. But if you can’t be visible, perfect clients and customers can’t see you. A third, which is a biggie, is feeling deserving. If a woman has nagging thoughts of “Am I good enough?” it’s sending out the message of “I don’t deserve more.” Nobody wants to talk about this. But if someone doesn’t, women aren’t going to find the help they need.
If you aren’t experiencing the success you desire, there may be these things at play below the surface.
You can’t change your relationship with money until you change your relationship with yourself.
That’s why I’m here. My mission is to help women entrepreneurs experience success faster than I did.
